Oracle Library initialization problems not reported clearly
Problems with Oracle Library initialization are not reported properly.
The error message returned may not indicate that the problem is with the
loading of Oracle Library components. Possible causes include:
1. $LD_LIBRARY_PATH does not include the $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory.
2. $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory and/or its contents have incorrect permissions.
3. Wrong/incompatible version of $ORACLE_HOME/lib.
Workaround
Check items listed above in cases where the first Oracle operation fails
with an obscure error message.
