When monitoring GS64 3.7.2 and later stones, stop monitoring does not work
There was a change in GemStone/S v3.7.2, which results in the VSD stop monitoring to have no effect.
Workaround
The monitor windows shows the PID of the statmonitor process. On the command line, use kill -TERM <pidOfStatmonitor> to stop monitoring.
