Installs on Mac/Mojave can generate rpcinfo error

Under currently unknown conditions, 3.5 installs under Mac OS / Mojave can fail with the following error:

   rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: rpcinfo: RPC: Unable to send; errno = Broken pipe

Workaround

Prior to installation, execute:

    sudo launchctl start com.apple.rpcbind
