VSD product help version numbering inconsistent
VSD help text displays a version number for VSD. Since VSD historically was considered part of the server product, these version numbers were not always incremented until the GS64 3.2 and VSD 3.2 release. Post-3.2 versions of VSD used the build number, and in some cases incremented the version where there was no actual changes in VSD.
Workaround
It is not critical to track VSD version numbers. Since new versions of VSD can load statistics that are generated from all older versions of GS64, GSS, and GBS, if you find problems in VSD, you should download and install the latest version of VSD.
