Auto-commit not usable in manual transaction mode
Auto-commit is a new feature in v7.6 that allows code changes to be automatically
committed to the repository as part of accept. This feature is only intended
to be used with a session that is in automatic transaction mode, which
is the default. If the session is changed to manual transaction mode, accepting
code changes, which triggers the automatic commit, will fail with an error.
Workaround
Do not enable auto-commit if running in manual transaction mode.
