User creation encounters Segment error against GemStone/S 64 Bit 2.2 or later
Creating a new user using the GBS tools fails with an error that
the user's default segment must be committed. Segment behavior
changed in GemStone/S 64 Bit 2.2; segments must now be committed
before they can be used.
Workaround
Create a new Segment for the user and commit it, or select and existing Segment. Copy the Segment using the Segment tool "grab"
menu option. In the User Creation dialog, paste the Segment using
the "Paste to Default Segment" button.
