gslist has been included as part of the Windows Client product, although there are no Windows processes that it can report on; the value on Windows is to report processes remotely that running on GemStone Server platforms, using the -m option.
The changes in the NetLDI handshake in v3.4 resulted in this remote access not working. gslist -m <serverHost> on Windows will always report No GemStone servers.
GemTalk expects to discontinue support for gslist -m from Windows. If this functionality is important in your environment, please contact GemTalk Technical Support.
Log into a GemStone server node and execute gslist there.
