Upgraded repository references incorrect GciLibrary name
The GciLibrary class interfaces from GemStone Smalltalk to the GCI shared library, which has a version-specific name. The upgrade process to a new version of GemStone/S 64 Bit, with a new shared library name, did not update the library name reference. This resulted in errors when using External Sessions, or aother GciLibrary uses.
Workaround
as SystemUser, run GciLibrary initializeFunctions.
