Unable to read tranlog with record-level compression, as in hot standby system

The hot standby logsender on the master system performs record-level compression
(unless the -u option is specified), before transmitting the records to
the slave system.  If the master system generated many transaction log
records for byte objects containing compressed data, the compressed size
calculation could be incorrect, and the slave system was not able to read
these records.
