Stone not shutdown cleanly by kill -TERM
Normally, sending kill -TERM to the stone's PID should result in the stone
shutting down cleanly. Changes in 3.1.0.2 introduced a bug in which the
final checkpoint was not written, which results in an unclean shutdown
that requires subsequent recovery.
