Fixed In:

GBS with VW 7.4.1 on Linux runs hot

VisualWorks 7.4.1 runs hot on Linux with GBS loaded. This is a
problem in the VW virtual machine, which was fixed with VW virtual machine version 7.4c. See

Workaround

Use a VW 7.4.1 virtual machine containing the fix.
